{a little before & after}

I'm a self taught photographer and I learned almost everything I know because other photogs were willing to share information on their blogs or fb pages. I'm so grateful to the ones that have done this because sometimes photography tips and tricks are a huge secret that will never be told!I'm constantly learning new things and so here's a little bit of what I know. To start, I always shoot in RAW because it's easier to adjust the colors in photoshop this way. Then do any color corrections and skin/eye editing. Next I boosted the contrast a little and used Mademoiselle and Blossom actions from Florabella.(If you're not familiar with Florabella, I suggest looking her up on facebook. These are amazing actions from an amazingly talented photographer) I adjust the layers until I think it looks right. Last I sharpen and resize. I used my 85mm and my settings were ISO 200, f1.4, 1/640.
